Hi

I have found a few New Galactica kits on the http://www.federationmodels.com/ site.

Look under Model Kits and Alliance,  Almost at the bottom of the list.

I have this same kit, havent built it yet but its a great kit.

I was afraid of that. I was a bit surprised that someone hadn't made the Galactica kits yet considering the popularity of the TV show and TV movie...

Cheers!

Hey folks. First post to the SciFi forum. I started doing mostly armor and some aircraft models. But i've always been a big SciFi fan so I want to build a few kits. I'm very interested Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek and Star Wars kits. Plastic, not resin. My favorite local hobby shop doesn't deal in much SciFi and they aren't very knowledgeable on the topic. If anyone can point me in the right direction for good kits I'd be very grateful! I'm especially interested in the following...

U.S.S Defiant
U.S.S Voyager
U.S.S. Enterprise (NX-01/NCC-1701-E)

Best source for these is likely going to be eBay.  Most of those, depending on the scale, can still be found fairly cheap.

Battlestar Galactica

eBay only, as the kit hasn't been re-issued since 1997 or thereabouts.  Well, since you say plastic only.  There's a resin-cast kit available from Timeslip Creations, however.

Colonial Viper (Mark II & Mark VII)
Cylon Raider (New Series...already found old series)

You won't find these three in any medium other than resin.  I also sort of doubt that we'll ever seen plastic kits of any of theirs, tho it could happen if Tom Lowe - formerly of Playing Mantis/Polar Lights - manages to get the rights for his new company.  There are several resin kits in various scales for these, however.
