Thanks! I actualy finished the shield last night by hand(as usual) and it came out great. as for the torso, I have alredy finished the paint and the lines on the shoulder
look done, but thats just shadow from my light source. more pics soon.

IMHO the lines on the shoulder are optional -i.e. whether to fix that or not is entirely up to you.
I've done both ways though I prefer leave them out and pretending they are panel lines... ^ ^

Also this one works well with the C-joint mod - i.e. you can separate the torso and waist as well as the shoulder frame from the torso and put 'em all together after painting. With c-joint mod it's even possible to paint using the spray can since almost no masking would be required...

For the back of shield, mask off the face and spray using dark grey or neutral grey followed with light wash~

I haven't built a RX-78 in a bit (the Shin Musha doesn't count) , so I figured I would try something smaller than what I normaly build. That, and the fact that the kit was only 800 Yen Big Smile [:D].

I am doing more of a grey for the normaly white armor. I t looks good to me, you can kinda see it on the sheild. coments and questions welcomed and encuraged as always.
