Fantastic, imaginative and great execution. You'd never guess what lay at the core of the structure. Well done!

Oooh!  I like how that turned out.   As already said, very WH40K-ish!  Maybe from the Ork's?

Lol, at first, before it was painted, it looked like the ship off of F-Zero the game!

(I couldn't find a better picture).

Now that is what I call a whiff! Somehow it grates me to see a known aircraft done up in "What If?" schemes. I mean, we know that it didn't, so "if" is a waste of effort, IMHO. Now, that's just me and my opinion, so no one send me any emails.

But stuff like this? Man, that really is a "What If." I love it!

A true craftsman. I'm inspired.

Thanks Gary (you may call me John Big Smile [:D] ). The whatifmodelers site is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for lately; It's now in the 'favorites'.

Hiya CJ

For more on this see here

http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,18624.0/highlight,aircans.html

For new stuff watch this space. I`ve been into aviation for a while but I may build some scifi stuff in the near future. In fact I`ve a few ideas already if I can get the bits.

Cheers Gary

sumpter250:

OK, is this a BTAC....Battle Tank Air Cushion? or a BTEC....Battle Tank "Ear" Cushion.

Alright, I'll go to my room. Either way, that's sweet work!

I was gonna ask if it was a Ground Effect Vehicle, or a Sound Effect Vehicle... Big Smile [:D]

Again, another cool build. Kinda like those Warhammer 40K vehicles, only lots less expensive.

The colors are very striking, but its the weld lines that really draw my eye.

More please. Cool [8D]

I likes!

Very resourceful. Your paint color and schemes interest me the most.

Hi Sawyer,

Yeah the detailing is just left over bits. I normally grab a handful out of the stash and start putting bits together, not glueing, just seeing what odds n sods look interesting together. In the sci fi section here theres a post `Fame At Last`. This build came about because I had a Starwars shuttle kit with extra wings and tail. In fantasy nearly anything goes.

As too the Whatif site, give it a whirl. Very friendly bunch that seem to have a thing about beer and twiglets, and very encouraging to newbies. I`ve only been there a year and it feels like home.

Cheers Gary

Wow, too cool. I just like to stumble into the sci-fi section cuz you guys really should get more attention, I love the fantasy stuff. Now I wanna make something out of junk! Where do you get all the extra pieces, are they just spares from other kits?
I have an idea for a single pilot aircraft that I want to realize in model form some day, I guess I should come to this forum more often.
Oh, and I'm signing up with the site you provided, cuz that is too cool.
