I think that you've got yet another winner, Tom!

A small update. I have completed the first bit of shading on the body of the model.

Next I will follow with MM Red-Brown Italian Camo.

Alright, Joey, here you go.  I guess you forgot about these, eh?  And keep right on forgettin' about 'em, even when they're re-introduced to you.

Some of my Finished Works <-- thread here at FSM.  I'm still not really happy w/the ARVEY Model Products Mineral Ship paintjob, but I just wanted to finish the darned thing, so did.

This is you right?

Have you done anything recently, that you finished? I mean, you know, something that looks like it's finsihed? I have to ask, what model paints do you use? Sorry to get off topic here. That is some fine work.

:)

Yep, those're mine.  The K-22 Klingon Bird-of-Prey and Korlas - along with most all of those other finished models on my site to which you didn't link this time - were finished well over ten years ago, even tho some of those pics are w/in the last five or so years.  I've learned quite a lot in the intervening time.  As hobbiests, most of us tend to learn from our mistakes. Wink [;)]

As I've mentioned many, many times, Joey, I don't claim to be a great modeler nor a fast builder.  Someone else seems to keep making those claims on my behalf.  I do this as a hobby, for fun.  And yes, I have a whole lot of models that aren't finished.  But I've got more models finished right now than I did three years ago.  It helps that my kids are all getting older, thus require a bit less attention than before.  That allows me a bit more time to work on models - when I feel I've got the free time to devote, anyhow.

What's your point about unfinished models, anyhow?  I know a LOT of other modelers who have a number of unfinished models.

As for paints, I currently mostly use either Tamiya rattlecans or Model Masters paints.  You?

Now...  Since you called me out, when are you going to show us some of your finished work...?  Question [?]

Please start your own thread, tho, so that we don't continue to derail Tom's beautiful Cardie Galor-class build thread. Smile [:)]

I too would like to see some more of his work.  Those look pretty good, but the pics are a little blurry.  (no offense, I suck at photography myself)  Beowolf47, you've got good taste.  Those are some nice builds.  Bravo.

Anyway, Mad Klingon, I love the finish you are applying to this one.  Like your Gorlos, which I have and LOVE! this too will be a fantastic peice!!

I agree, nice work. Can't wait to see it done.

You're the one who build that?  I really liked that one.  It looked like a lot of work.   My wife  noticed it too.

Has anyone posted pictures from that contest?  Mine didn't come out too well.

Hi Gang:

Started work on the cruiser just after Modelpalooza in May as a change of pace.

My previous build did nothing but aggravate me - almost shelved the model 3 times but I put too much time and effort into it to give up...but I digress.

I am building the kit almost straight from the box just adding some small details here and there.

It is the paint scheme that I am focusing on for now.

Well, take a look and let me know what you think. I will be updating the images when I can.

Thanks!
