I have taken a foray off the site but now believe I am back. Starting originally with 1:48 aircraft and then a series of 1:700 waterline ships (which are a joy to build) and some dirty nasty armor, I took some time off and didn't build a thing. There on my shelf sits an unfinished Yamamoto (sp?) and a german battle cruiser whose name escapes me. Under the bed is an unfinished 1:350 horney and Hancock. But, I am back. In the interim, I stumbled upon some 1:25th cars. Boy are they nice to paint and shine up, little weathering, no camo, just the color you want. But, the history is lacking so I am back. I will say this, on a scale of 1:10, the Trumpeter ship kits for instance are a 9.5 out of 10 while these car kits, the AMTs and the Revells are a 5/10. The fit is pitiful, flash on the sprews are horrible and the directions are pathetic. But, they are fairly easy builds if you have experience. I enjoy reading your alls comments again and will be contributing some photos soon.
