Forum friend in the path of Gustav

I imagine I'm not the only member of this Forum whose thoughts are turning to our longtime and valued friend Big Jake.  He and his household suffered terribly from Hurricane Katrina, and, though he's moved out of New Orleans itself since then, it sure looks like he's now in the path of Hurricane Gustav.

Jake - we're thinking and worrying about you.  I'm sure you have more important things to worry about at the moment, but when you have the time and energy to spare please do a post and let us know how things are going.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

All is Ok, we did not get flooded this time, (But boy was we worried) have a bit of damage to the front wood picket fence (258' feet of it), no power for a week.

All is OK

Great to hear from you Big Jake. Glad to hear you didn't have major problems this time around. My thoughts are now with our friends in Texas.
