                        You might also want to look at upgrades from Voyager.  In particular, they make an excellent set of replacement turrets and guns for the main armament, which is really the only significant problem with this kit (and the other Aoshima 1/350 Takao class as well).......

                        Welcome to the forum! You are joining a very lively crowd in here.  Anyway, I have never seen the Skywave set but have the Lion Roar set. Both are extremely reputable manufacturers. I am very happy with the Lion Roar but it is a matter of personal tastes and choice.  I believe that you won't go wrong with either.

                        Wanting to make a 350 scale takao. Ive just spotter that Skywave makes a upgrade set . It looks even more impressive than the Lion Roar set. has anyone any experiance of these maufacturers. Im new here and could do with some steering :)
