All the above are excellent suggestions.  Before losing any sleep over the question of "absolutely right" warship colors, however, please take a look at this thread:  /forums/988295/ShowPost.aspx .

Yes, sadly, Model Master has discontinued their acrylic marine color line. I know of no directly equivalent Tamiya color.

If you're not real picky, I've been using Testors Dark Sea Blue, No. 1172 (the little bottle of enamel) as deck blue on a 1/700 attack transport and it looks fine to me.

I use the White Ensign Models enamel deck blue. It is excellent.

I have a question about deck blue paint. The Model Master Deck Blue marine color is no longer available. Is there any other acrylic paint color that I could use to replace that paint? I was looking at Polly Scale Weathered Deck Blue but I am not sure.

Thanks for any help, I have just gotten back into model ships after not building any for about 40 years and this is my first post here.
