                         Just got word, from HobbySearch in Japan, that my order was now in stock. If delivery is as speedy as all the other times I have ordered from them then I should get it in about four days.

                         At their website they have posted pictures of the instruction sheets. It looks like it will be a fine and impressive kit.

                        I had an Email, this morning, saying my kit had been dispatched. Previous deliveries have taken about 80 hours to get from Japan to here in the Northwest of England so I've not long to wait.

                        Thanks for the links, I seem to remember one site that had some nice color close-ups while the ship was in port. I thought I had it in my faves, but I can't find it now!

                        My kit should arrive tomorrow, 08/10/08. After taking about 30 hours to get from Tokyo to Heathrow (27-28/09/08) it had languished in various depots 'til Customs Duty and other things were sorted.

                        Finally got it today.

                        After checking the box contents; the first problem I can see is you can't finish the kit as either Admiral Ushakov OR Kirov. The decal sheet is for the Frunze (in Russian, Фрунзе) but this ship only had one turret at the stern, as far as I can find out.
