Unidentified ship

I am looking at scratch building a ship, been thinking seriously about doing a warship though I'm unsure.  Right now I'm looking at doing a New Jersey class battleship.  Been a few years since I did a scratch build.

Me too. Been thinking about scaling a paper FUSO up and copying the parts in styrene. Don't know for sure though, Its quite a commitment. Maybe do the hull formers in ply, then filling in with great stuff foam and sanding that back to the formers and then covering the foam with FG.Then go from the deck up in styrene. Will R/C it if I do build it and would like the scale to be 1/100. The paper Fuso is already 1/200 so will be quite a large project but at least big enough to see the detail. I've always wanted one of those Gibbs and Cox models and this would be it. BILL

I have the hull, since it's a huge scratch-build finding anything exact is impossible and building the hull itself from scratch is nearly the same.  I can't say it'll be 100% accurate or 100% to scale.
