1/144 Bismarck pics
Posted by modelers-paradise.com on Saturday, October 4, 2008 9:25 AM

Hi,

here are some pics of the prototype Bismarck in 1/144

It is much likely to be on the market in Germany by end of March 2009, maybe a bit earlier.

It will be made of plastic injection molds. As of today no info about PE parts. It should easiely be possible to convert it into a r/c ship.

The price on the US market is about USD 999,- and is offered by modelers-paradise . com

If I understand it right, the cost will be $1000?  That can't be right, How many of these do you think they'd sell? The avg. modeler won't spend that much maybe $300-400 .  Esp. with the dreaded "R" word that is supposed to be comming?

Uh.........yes it can be right........and they'll sell as many of those as they did their $799 1/35 scale Dora Rail Gun, and like the Dora, I'll get one so long as I get the same 35% discount from the shop Smile [:)]

If you notice the post is from the importer, so I think he's up on the correct pricing for this monster.
