I found a very interesting Constitution.1980 Monogram was using the Imai molds for 1/120 Constitution it was kit number 3703.I found a kit from 1981 which was kit number 3705 and a totally different mold. The 1981 kit has a one piece hull and is 2" longer than the 1980 kit also a much deeper hull. The 1981 kit has a gun deck with molded in gun carriages. The 1980/Imai kit has never had a gun deck. The sterns on the two kits are totally different. The 1980/Imai stern looks more like how she sets in Boston now.The 1981 kit has no windows in the stern instead has three closed gun ports. The main deck gun carriages have molded in rigging. Something I've never seen in a plastic sailing kit are molded futtock shrouds but the 1981 kit has them.Thats just a few of the differents.
