SMS Grosser Kurfurst

Quick question for a future project. Was Kurfurst wearing/carrying her torpedo nets at Jutland? I've seen a couple of paintings supposedly of her at Jutland and she is protrayed with and without. Thanks.

After a lot of hunting around and some re-reading of my references I found one paragraph that makes a reference to a German after action report from Jutland that mentions the torpedo nets on the capital ships being prone to catching fire during surface actions and they should be removed. Based on that I'd say a capital ship at Jutland should be depicted with nets shipped and one being modeled after Jutland should be depicted without them. Any other opinions?

According to Seigfried Breyer, Battleships and Battle Cruisers, 1905 - 1970 (English Edition, 1973, ISBN:0385 0 7247 0-3), in the section on the German Navy, "Only capital ships of World War I were fitted with anti-torpedo nets.  They were removed after the Battle of Jutland and not fitted again."

Hope this helps.
