Thanks guys! This one will be on the back burner for awhile i have several kits ahead of this one.lol I primarily build sci fi and armor so this will be a big change!lol

Yeah, it pretty much travels in a straight line, unless you turn the rudder to make it go in circles.  As i recall, the diving fins are weighted, which drives the boat under the water, at which point a 'periscope' with a vane on it acts as a lever to bring the dive fins up again, thus resurfacing the boat, and this 'dive and surface' action continues until the battery runs out, or you get bored.......

Still...it is a neat little kit.With some creativity it builds into a nice replica.

I just picked this up on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $10 and figured i'd give it a shot. What does motorized action do exactly considering it isn't remote controled? Just travel in a straight line?
