Well, it was built out of the box. Plain or not someone like it and asked me for more pics so that he can scrathbuild one, and I've already updated my page to add 17 more pics of the Liberty Ship. ;-)

That was me.  Is it plain looking?  Well, I guess it depends on the person building it.  I think it looks a little plain, but all in all I think it's a great build.  That scratch build I'm working on is going to incorporate a good portion of the O'Brien design.  Being the size of the scratchbuild, I can incorporatea good deal of detail.  But because I plan on revisiting my childhood (giggle!) I don't think it's wise to have such detail.  Some yes and some no. 

Now imagine the O'Brien 15'7-3/4" long....

THAT is why I need more pics!
