Very nice - thanks for sharing!  What PE did you use for the railings?

Cheers, Rick

Thanks for the replies!

RTimmer - The P/E came with the kit ,believe it or not! There was even enough to do all the upper superstructure. I'd like to see Trumpeter do some more stuff in the scale- preferrably WW2 stuff.

Really like the colors you used, would you mind sharing the particulars on your orange, dark deck gray and hull colors?

Thanks

Joe - The light gray is Testors Camoflage Gray in a spray can (I'm a big believer in easy), the dark gray deck is 50/50 mix Model Masters Panzer Gray / Euro1 Gray, and the upper decks orange is Humbrol #100 Orange in the little tin. Everything was doused with an acrylic wash called "The Detailer". I used black for the grays and rust for the orange. I used Q-Tips dipped in either water or rubbing alcohol to remove most of the wash, leaving it in the recesses. Oh, the paints were enamels.
