Perhaps you can build a matching scale C-130 and paint "Look ma no hook" on the side to commemorate that historic experiment. Please keep the pics coming as you progress with your work that is already off to a great start.

AC crane is on Forrestal. http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo95/raider-hall/100_1497.jpg flightdecks will be made this week for all 3 and then be sent out by the end of the month.

Although that crane does lift aircraft to the elevator from the pier, I believe it is actually termed the boat crane. As I wasn't a boatswain's mate, I could be wrong, but it was their crane. Good progress, raider.

Thank you, this is the finished USS Forrestal hull for a modeler. He will layout the hangerdeck with walls and all kind of stuff.
