Get a copy of the Floating Drydock's Missouri Plan eBook.(item BBPB-CD). http://floatingdrydock.com/books.html#PB

This is an Adobe version of the FD plan book.  It shows the Missouri as she appeared on Sept 2,'45.  There are excellent plans,  diagrams, and archive photographs which are not generally available otherplaces on line

Missouri Appearance?

Perhaps the experts on this site could help me with another Missouri question.

What changes were made in the appearance of the Missouri between the surrender ceremonies, Sept 2, 1945 and Jan. 20 1950, the date of the blueprints found at the following site? http://www.ussmissouri.org/documents/blueprints.pdf

She was at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for anout 5 months starting in Sept 1947 and in the Norfolk Navy Yard for about 4 months starting in Sept 1949. I imagine that the radar installation was changed but what else was done? Or was it superficial in regards to her appearance?

Regards, Jay
