The Vacuform kit company 'Combat Models' has made an S-Boat kit in 1/72. I keep hoping it will reappear somewhere else sometime. Here's a completed kit image from the Nautilus Models website: http://ibs.eastcoastarmory.com/Gun/4inch/MVC-023S.JPG |

Hi Guys!
Between work, school, and everything else that gets in the way of my modelling,I've been woking on the COMBAT MODELS "S-Class" for the past several months.
It was Mario Grima's build that inspired me.The "S-boat" requires a tremendous amount of scratch building and raiding after-market detail sets.In my opinion,it's not impossible, just difficult to work with. And EXPENSIVE to build (details,putty,AVES-SCULPT,sheet plastic,etc...).Research material is a must!
Did I mention that it can be frustrating at times?

It can be done.It just takes a lot of time, effort, and resources.
