Okido, not the best quality snaps (my macro setting sucks and the snaps white out if I use the flash so they all have a cosy yellow tinge from my desk lamp). You get the idea though and just feast your eyes on the big resin lug underneath that will have to be removed:

The lead horns are nicely molded and the brass wire is to make lifting eyes on the mine. The instruction sheet doesn't tell you where to attach the piece of rope and the bling bling chain (yes I know, somewhere on the bottom of the mine Big Smile [:D])

But as you see, no cart/trolly.

cheers,

Julian

Wow that thing is HUGE!

I couldn't imagine more than one of those monsters on the back end of the boat! I may order one of those Andreas just to to see what it looks like, plus the trolly is included. I wonder if there were different types of that same style mine as far as size goes.

I just want to add some of those can style depth charges. They should be pretty easy to scratch and there are some decent pics of those around. With some different load-out options, it may "require" purchase of another  S-100!

Hey Grem would you please post a close-up of the mine and the fiddly bit parts?

Thanks

Hi there Snap, which ones? If you mean the one in the photo's up above, no, they don't. Robert Schatton's apparently will and Andreas do. How's your build coming on?

Cheers,

Julian

I'll keep this option in mind Bob, thanks for the heads-up. Robert Schatton (modellbau Schatton) is working on a set German mines and Depth charges for use with the Italeri S-boat. Should be appearing after Christmas.

Cheers,

Julian

Another, though slightly oversize 1;32 scale option, is the Andrea Miniatures German Submarine Mine.

I recieved one of these from `Der Sockelshop ´ ( http://www.sockelshop.de/catalog/index.php ) in Germany two days ago. Wanted to see if it would look good on the stern of Italeri´s monster S-100. Judge for yourself.

They cost 15 Euro´s a piece which is not cheap but a full load will look very impressive sitting on the stern of the ship.

Cheers,

Julian My 2 cents [2c]
