Sub Killers...

After a cursory search on the internet, I couldn't find any one ship that could lay claim to that title. But as far as hunter-killler groups went, the ships centered on USS Bogue racked up a total of 13 submarines which included the Japanese I-52.

Wasn't there a Brit group that racked up quite a total in the North Atlantic?

It was Buckley. Another Buckley class, USS England, sunk five Japanese subs in seven days, and assisted in a sixth five days later. Not the highest over all, but an impressive run.
