Dean,

PM me, I have this kit and instructions, however, I am on vacation so it might be a week of two before I can get them copied and emailed as a PDF.  Also, they are black line drawings on a gray background so I hope they copy ok.  Twelve pages total.

Sorry Dean --I do not save instructions anymore-  and these were trashed a couple weeks ago...

Hi, I bought this model but unfortunately the instructions were not included so been unable to build it. I was wondering if you still have the instructions and could possibly email them to me please?

Kind regards

Dean

A very fine build, keep the pictures coming, these odd ball ships are interesting even if they never existed. Karl

Yup, I almost forgot that I tackled 'Phenix' a long time ago, but didn't get any further than the hull before being distracted with other matters........ But I will admit, the build of 'Sirene' posted above is coming along very nicely...

Searat

You see, "if you lopped off that extra poop deck, and the ridiculous 'turrets' on either side of the bow (what the heck are they supposed to be, bath-houses?), and ditch the figurehead", you would end up with Heller Le Phenix exactly! :)

The 'Sirene' is the unfortunate fancy clone of 'Le Phenix', which itself is a very resonable-looking vessel, and is based on a set of drawings (discussed in great depth in a number of posts on this forum).

The build looks very nice indeed

I thought the figurehead was the best bit about it, I couldn't be persuaded into spending one minute of my time or effort into starting that particular offering.

Yup, looks like a very nice build of a very screwy kit!  The designers must have been swilling too much absinthe when they came up with this one!  Ya know, if you lopped off that extra poop deck, and the ridiculous 'turrets' on either side of the bow (what the heck are they supposed to be, bath-houses?), and ditch the figurehead, you might end up with an almost reasonable looking ship!  That said, you are doing the best you can with what you are given....

Great build Len,  this is not an easy kit to fit together.

Nice build!  I'll have to show pictures of my build of the Stella.  Real or not, it, too, is a fun build!

i must say that you've been inspiring me lately to quit dragging my butt and get back to work on my Royal Louis....

I know, I know-  this may be a fictional model and it may not even float...but it was in my stash and I like to build so here we go so far.  Even if it is not a real ship-  it's too bad because I think Heller did a fine job-  assembly so far has been very nice-  the stern must be 30 parts...and it all went together quite well for an old kit...masts look like another story however...
