Hunting for Hedgehogs
Posted by Pavlvs on Monday, December 29, 2008 7:05 AM
Does anyone make a 1/350 Hedgehog Anti Submarine launcher. I'm working on a 1/350 Sumner as she appeared in 1959 and she had two Hedgehogs.

While we are at it, I'm also in search of the newer teardrop shaped depth charges.

These look daunting to scratchbuild but I will if I have to.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not much in the aftermarket area.   Hedgehog box launchers are not available from either of the people who I thought would be the best choice,  White Ensign and Veteran Models.

Gold Medal Models does make a PE Hedgehog as part of their England/Buckley PE

Look toward the right 1/3 of the fret

But you would need 2 frets to fulfill your needs

Your course of action may be to buy the Trumpeter USS England kit and use the kit's Hedgehog and cast resin copies of it for use on your subject
