New kit from Revell Germany - current sail training ship 1/150 scale Alexander von Humboldt. A very nice kit that would make a great first sailing ship kit. Perfect molding, easy build and fits like a dream.

Nice job and thanks for the posting.  I have been wondering what this kit looks like every time I see it in the monthly sales flyer from Squadron.  It looks like it would be a fun short time build.

Very nice, and thanks for posting.  What is the length - stem to stern?  I might have to pick one of these up as well.

Cheers, Rick

Hi Rick- it's probably around 14 inches long- tip to stern...a decent size.

Scottrc- yes a great short term- easy project...for $30 bucks or so- a nice value.

Beautiful job! I've been drawn to getting the kit. Those green sails kind of fascinate me. Are they molded in green? Are they in the kit at all?
