Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 29, 2003 8:03 PM
hey all,

i was wondering if anyone knew any good sources for the 56,000 ton German liner Vaterland, which was launched from Blohm+Voss slipway 9 in 1940.

she was destroyed by an allied bombing raid

thanks,

Joe:
You don't say if you are looking for a kit or information on the ship herself ...

Go over the the modelwarships.com site and click on the "debris field" which is a separate forum dedicated to ocean liners and other civilian vessels.
Good luck,
Bruce

Hmmm,
Most of the information I am finding is for the liner that was launched in 1914.
It sounds like you are going to have a difficult time finding info as the ship
Vaterland II was damaged before launch in 1940...
subsequently scrapped, 1948.
