I recall seeing a similar build at MSW if memory serves me right. You can always get the old Revell Polaris class re-issue with the "cutouts".

Of course it is feasible.  I remember seeing a most remarkable 100 gun ship-of-the-line model at the Mystic Seaport store approximately 10 years ago . . . the model was scratch-built; much of the planking was stripped showing the exactly modeled frames, knees, cannon, ladders, barrels, etc.  I do not remember seeing such exactness in detail.  The model was in 1/1200 scale!

If you have the skills, the time, the resources, and the nimbleness, anything is possible!

Greetings !

I have AFV club's very nice 1/350 scale Type XXI U-boat. I get the foolish idea of putting interior detail into it. Do you think it is feasible ? Maybe some aftermarket producer offers already such an interior detail set for this particular kit. Also, I have the same idea for my big and nice 1/350 DML Typhoon class SSBN. What would you suggest ?
