Wish me well. I have started putting together ( actually painting parts) the 1/800 USS Enterprise A/C carrier, this is my 1st attempt at a carrier. I am a 66 year old newbie to modeling. As a kid I put together a couple of planes when I could afford to buy a model ( not many)

I am 63 years old, three years your junior. I started modelling when I was probably 12. The excitement I felt building my first model (a Revell USS Sullivans) I still feel today everytime I start a new build. It is never too late to start. Good luck and keep us posted on your construction.

At 65, I guess I fall in between the two of you. I was on active from 1961-1983, but BuPers was kind to me and never sent me "in country". Been building models the better part of my life. Have fun with Enterprise, hope it leads to many more.

Lead me not into temptation ..................I can find it myself
