 Thanx for the responce, How ever the Germns , japenes, were not concered with comfort , as americans where. They were out too exterminate at all costs. So in a since you r right, im also right,& wrong. i think thats part of why we model, not only to hav fun,  also so no one forgets. reguardless. its history , its interestng. We put it in a diff. perspective. Somthng sort of visual. Unique.

   And congrats on the new grandkid!

The Gatos might not have been as efficient, but they were a lot more comfortable for the crew which is a big factor in efficiancy even to this day.

Thanks Stikpusher, Yes its all  1/72 nd from revell , gato sub , German VIIC 552, S-100  boote

Gato was lgr , however not as efficiant, however quickly replaceable.

And all in the same scale! Very nice work! I was really amazed at teh size difference between the Type VII and the Gato Fleet boat! Half again as big! I really like the weathered effect you put into all these...especially the U-Boat. They show your dark side/armor background!
