                        Good info here on Hikawa Maru, including a link to the official ship site. It still exists and is a museum after being restored in 2007-8.

                        there is a model of her at the wisconsin maritime museum. i have some close-up pictures as well.

                        Love to see them, as I have the Aoshima kit of Nitta Maru, which is no different than the other kits of the class, save for the decals.
