This is something I did for a few projects.

Scaled up or down drawings in photoshop and then cut into sections small enough to print, than pasted all the printed pieces onto some foam board.

I also sometimes trace over them on drafting paper to get sharp clean lines.

It can be done but it is a pain. I scaled up some drawings of a Dodge M37 paper model last year with the idea of doing it in styrene. As mentioned you need to find some measurements you can use to verify the scale. I had about 4 pages to enlarge but must have made 50 copies before I got it right.

If possible it might be easier to scan it and enlarge the drawing on a computer.

Photocopiers are also notorious for enlarging the X and Y axis at different rates. IE the height could be enlarged at 141.5% and the length at 142.5%. Always double check the measurements.

So long folks!

Depending how accurate you want the drawing - and how accurate the copier is - calculate the new size of an easily measured component and check it after the enlargement. You may need to adjust the percentage on the copier to get it exactly right.

Divide 500 by 350.  Set copier to "enlarge" by the percentage of 500 divided by 350 (142%).  Make your copies.

 Hello;

I need to convert a 1/500 scale drawing to 1/350 using a photocopier and was wondering how this is done. Any help would be appreaciated.
