 Looking good.

I still haven't started on mine yet.

From what I have read

Port Red, Starboard Green, Fore and Aft white.

By the way the hatches on the sides of the fairwater should be removed as they are only on museum boats to keep the public out.

The model is based on the Cobia including the broom on the mast that was only used when a sub came back with all torpedos gone IIRC. (might want to remove it as well if you haven't already.

Eric...

Subfixer: I got a question and figured you would be the correct source. Were the running lights on either side of the Gato's sail red/green or were there lights located amidships i.e. along the deck that were.??. Trying to get it right..figured you'd know better than others.

Thanks. I'm still not sure about the weathering.. Still have most of the sail to work on as well as all of those railing sections.

Progressing merrily along.. This submarine is a greater challenge than I anticipated.. Still have to add deck details and paint/detail the deck gun.. more pics to come..

This is my first foray into ship modeling. I normally stick with the planes and tanks. Could not resist the Revell Gato however. Comments and criticims especially welcomed!!
