Wasn't she converted to a CVA? I'm in, friend! I want to see this one! And to learn too!

USS Hancock was converted to CVA-19.  My Dad served onboard from 1965 through 1968, so I am very interested in your project!

The Hancock would tie up next to us in Alameda back in 72. The Ticonderoga, too. Later, when I was assigned to the Lexington, I didn't feel like the Lex was such an old ship after all. The Essex class was a really good looking class of carriers, good luck on your project, raider.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
