Entex 1/350 scale Titantic

real newbie here when it comes to ship models.   Found an old Entex kit of the Titantic in my attic with all my other stash.   Was this a very good kit, or am I just wasting my time with it?  The kit is still sealed in bags on the inside and is very complete and clean.    Thanks,   Dennis

It's the only 350th kit out there (the Minicraft kit's a repop) so it's kind of a moot point if you want a model of the ship in that scale.

That said, it's very buildable; the only problem I had with mine was that the top deck had some gaps near the superstructure, which was designed with some parts to poke up through the deck.

This site can help you go nuts on the kit if you want: http://titanic-model.com/

Thanks Tracy for the info.   I'm sure I will go ahead and build it.   Kinda got into the 1/350 scale ships, with the latest being the Trumpeter CV-2 Lexington.  And BTW, i bookmarked your website.  Very cool.  Thanks again,,,,Dennis

Just in case I'm confused ... the Titanic site is not mine, but the Researcher@Large one is.

hey ratfink  the old entex ain,t half bad AND you can now get lottsa p.e. stuff for the model . i drilled out ALL the portholes and cut out windows in the salon and boat deck areas . why? i then proceeded to load her with fibre optics . wow what a job ! but the stacks are spotlighted and the ship is alight on top of my t.v.. when i did mine there were NO p.e. kits for her so i cut all my rails and ladders from model railroad stuff .. good luck   tankerbuilder
