Looking for a 350 Plastic ship to build

Yup, nothing but good things heard about the Tamiya Fletcher, and inexpensive too!

Then there is always Tamiya's USS Fletcher. A perennial favorite, fairly cheap, simple and has good detail. It can really be enhanced with abundant choices of aftermarket products.

i personaly would recommend  the TRUMPETER U.S.S, NORTH CAROLINA . you can do oob or get the EDUARD p.e. set and really do her nicely . i spoke to the director for displays at the museum of the same name , and they think enough of the kit to offer it in the gift shop .       tankerbuilder

You could try any of the Tamiya 350 i.e Missouri, Bismark, King GeorgeV.and they are all easily Radio controlled if you fancy trying.I`ve done them all though the Enterprise was a challenge.

Price is the biggest factor.

There is the Tamiya USS Enterprise Carrier on there for about $170.00.

If you just going OOB then I would say any of the Tamiya's are your best bet.

Although Trumpeters 1/350 series is a close second ( the Battle ship catagory) IMHO

The BIGGEST question you should be thinking about is how much do you plan to spend?  There are lots of very good kits out there in this scale, and the prices range from about twenty bucks to well over $300!!  If you look around, you might be able to pick up a Saratoga or Lexington from Trumpeter for around $80........
