It looks great but as far as I know, the 552 never had a striped paint job.

Way to go Claudez, be a free spirit ! Build for fun and enjoyment and not for museums. Your build looks good.

Thanks to all for the kind words and astute criticism.. Yeah, I know my boat isn't exactly accurate, but it pleases my sense of aesthetics so there ya go.. The hobby is supposed to be fun isn't it?

Nice work Claudez. She a good bit bigger than I thought having not built one.Makes me wonder where the hell am I going to put my Revell Fletcher when it gets here. Thats besides trumpeters Kuznetsov in 1-350. Sometimes me thinks Kits can be a little bit too BIG. But when you finish yours completeley, I would love to see some more Photos.Bow [bow]

Overall your build looks damn nice, Claudez!!Thumbs Up [tup] Though I will suggest one thing, put some Future next time where the decals will be going. That way the carrying film will vanish from view.

Looks good! I agree about the Future, works well. You can use Microsol or similar decal solvent to, softens the decal so it sits over bumpy bits better, and takes away the edges. Good hunting!
