I've got a Badger 350 single action airbrush that I've used for 25 years - I figure I've gotten my money's worth out of it.  ;)

I've got both medium and fine nozzles for it, but very seldom use the fine nozzle except for free-handing feathered camoflage schemes.

I strip it and thoroughly clean it every time I use it, which I think has helped it to last as long as it has. 

I recently bought a Badger 150 dual action airbrush, but am still learning how to use it.

 I use a badger 200 single action. After using a paasche VL for 12 years, I prefer the s/a as you don"t have to worry about finesse with the trigger. I also use a compressor with a holding tank and regulator. I set the brush to how I want,t Then the compressor pressure i want, then airbrush merrily away.

I have a Badger 360 air brush which I like and also an Iwata Eclipse. A company called Dixie Art has very good prices on air brushes (www.dixieart.com). A dual action brush will give you more control over what and how you paint. It alllows control of the air and the amount of paint being used.

Just so you have something to compare to, every model in my webshots albums were painted with a cheap single action Badger Airbrush. I've never mastered the double action yet, and I've given up trying.
