WWII Bathurst Class Corvette
Posted by Leonidas on Thursday, April 30, 2009 7:52 AM

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a (resin?) kit avaliable of the Australian Bathurst class Corvette/ Minesweepers of WWII?

I've looked on the web and can't find anything, but thought someone might know of a place where I can get hold of one.

Cheers.

No kits of either the Bathurst-class or the Bangor-class from which it was derived that I am aware of.

However, John Lambert does have a set of plans of the Bathurst

sample:

that you may use to scratchbuild one from.  Plans include sections

There is discussion of a new 1:700 scale limited run Bangor-class minesweeper on SteelNavy at:

It is reportedly by Seals Models which has a good reputation.  I tried to follow the links on the Japanese website but could not get any additional info.

Thanks EdGrune for the help. I'll look into what ideas you've given me.

Thanks again. Smile [:)]
