Man, the 6, 4 and 200 look rather "runty"compared to the Typhoon Confused [%-)]

That Typhoon is one big...you know what. What colour did you use for her hull?

I just got my hands on a 1/350 Hotel class SSBN (K19 kit) and am looking forward to putting that together. Look like she'd go well besides a completed Typhoon! I'll have to get my hands on ones of those too. Dragon, here I come!

Nice work on all four subs! Smile [:)]

I have to search an online dictionary for the meaning of "runty" and here it goes:

stunted; dwarfish: The runty puppy seems the most playful of the litter.

Now I know your meaning. You may also say that the Typhoon looks quite gigantic compared to the three submarines.

Leonidas, all my modelers don't use hobby paints because they're expensive. They use industrial paints (mother colors) and mix into desired color. Now Toom the builder is working on USS North Carolina 1:350 w/ local made PE rails.

I had to search the dictionary for "mother colors"...still don't know what that means...something to do with Mothers' Day?

I think you mean primary colours. If they are working out from primary colours to the required mixes I am amazed Shock [:O]. Life for us yurapeans ( a Bush-ism) is easy with all the Vallejo tones.

Well, I thought "mother colors" is universally known. "Mother colors" in Thai means primary colors in English. It's either Red, Yellow & Blue or RGB (Red Green Blue). My modelers would add Black and White too. Grey tone like this is easy to mix. You gotta see metallic aluminum tones mixed by another modeler for the F/A-18D 1:32 in this thread. No Vollejo is gonna be better.:

Ha, there's no water like real water! I set up a tray filled with water for photographic purpose only. In the 5th picture you'll see some water spilled over at the left side outside the tray. The tray may be used later on for other subs/small ships.
