What is a paper detail sheet?
Posted by eddiemac0 on Friday, May 15, 2009 7:16 PM

Hi,

Ok, so I did several searches both on google and here in the forum, so maybe this is a wording / translation issue.

Briefly: I've built a few kit-standard waterlines and want to try getting into PE, etc.  I picked up Aoshima's Soryu, hoping re-tool sections of it.  A teach-myself project...

Ran across something in the hobby shop called, "1/700 Flight Deck Detail Sheet for IJN Carrier Soryu." My Japanese was not good enough to get an answer (studying here), but I'm wondering what this thing is and how you use it?

Using your actual words (1/700 Flight Deck Detail Sheet for IJN Carrier Soryu) in Google gave me this.

Eric...

So you glue it over the old flight deck?  Paint through the slits?

I have no idea but they do look like templates.
