Umm, she made it to 93. Kind of... sowhat. The last survivor of the 1906 earthquake will be gone soon, as will my favorite aviator from WW2. You are born, you die.

No it's not fresh. before that movie came out, there was no public perception of it at all for at least oh, what, 50 years.

Not to be surly but Saturday is DDay.

OK but six years ago, which is the difference between the 1906 earthquake in which 3000 people died and the Titanic, there were half a dozen EQ survivors, one now. These things happen. She's lucky she made it to 93, I'm sure I won't since I'm such a negative person.

I know she was the last survivor, but it not like she was walking and talking at the time and understood anything, she was 6 weeks old when the boat sank.  I'm glad she survived, many many children and infants did not.  I don't know the ages of the Quake victims so I won't comment, but they woudl have been in the same braket VERY young to have survived.
