HI Yes the LINDBERG shrimper is back out , and we will see some more sometime soon . ERNIE PETIT , my contact at LINDBERG/HAWK stated that this model along with the coast guard cutter would be back . The other ships we might want will be forthcoming depending on the condition of the molds and the availability of restorable mold sections . Reconditioning molds of this nature is always burdened with a high cost factor , no matter which company it is .The fact that their being done overseas is not the decision here but one of , if they spend the money , will they get a fair (read reasonable profit ) price and following for them . I personnaly would like to see the minesweeper and some of the other small naval craft come back too . We will have to wait and see . We have to support this effort ,guys and gals , we don,t want LINDBERG / HAWK to go down the tubes do we ? They may not be the level of the others ,BUT , I would much rather turn a novice loose for his or her first ship with the shrimper or cutter from these fine folks , who are trying in these lean times to turn back the clock , even a little . Lets show ERNIE and the crew that we have faith in their efforts and buy AMERICAN for a change
