Question on Trumpeters 1/72 LCAC

I think actually most of the craft is unpainted aluminum.  Here is a link to some great photos.  I have 1/144 version, wish that I had known that they were going to come out with the 1/72 scale version.

It is not a monotone bright aluminum silver, rather there are multiple panels which are weathered/aged/corroded to various levels

And some panels are indeed painted.   See the tops of the propulsion blade shrouds.   Directional exhausts are also painted
