I've heard 1/200, but I don't know if this is correct-anybody know for sure?

"no, honey, of course that's not another new model. I've had that one for a long time..."

I have never heard of that one. Here's the scratch that'll solve your itch, scale boy. HVH passed this on a while ago, too.

Hi THERE ! I bet I,m wrong but if it,s the one I,m thinking of it scaled out close to 1/188. Thats odd I know ,but thats what happened back then . ( "We can sell them ,but , make the standard box work") .. I think that you can have fun correcting and building it though .----TANKERBUILDER

I am aware of two small-scale Barbary Pirate ships manufactured by Pyro, one of which was later put out by Life-like.  The first was a badly misproportioned blue hull with sticks for masts. It was repalced by another, more realistic version with a keel length of about 2.5 inches. They were in the original $.39-$.60 range.  I do not know of any other Barbary Pirate Ships released by them.  This kit appears to be more in the 1/600 range, although I haven't done any precise measurements or calculations. It is a very small ship model. 1/188 scale seems rather large for this kit.

Is there a larger kit produced by Life-like?
