HI shipbuilders . This is a heads up on this much maligned kit .It still stinks !!!! BUT , what an opportunity to hone your detailing skills . The mold is old ( I,m a poet and don,t know it )and it,s showing it,s age . Fear not , she can be built into a very nice vessel . It,ll take some work ,but you won,t be dissappointed The kit lends itself to this work like she was actually made for just this . The box says 1/350 but ,I think it,s closer to 1/300. Use photoetched to your advantage and you will be very surprised !!!! The plastic on mine is somewhat pearlescent so I think it,s made from a higher mix of recycled plastic . It,s very soft amd you can make a mistake a whole lot easier . The ship is full of aztec temple type stairs and that and the rails just have to go .The top edge of the parts is not level , so , you have to sand the tops even . enuff for now .  TANKERBUILDER

Here ya go:

The scale is more like 1/400, 1/411 to be exact.  The reissue apparently still has the old decals, which are useless.
