Looks like he did a very good job on the IJN escort ship. I don't think I could build a model like that in 12 days, let alone 12 hours! Are those the Fujimi crew figures on deck?
The Mirage Russian missile corvette (I think this is a Tarantul II-class) is neatly assembled, but seems to have the same weathering problem as your USS North Carolina (the upper works are even more weathered than the lower hull) and the railings (are these 1/700?) look rather undersized. (1/350 railings would look much better, if you can't get 1/400 ones).
Many thanks for your kind comments, EPinniger! If I build myself these may take a month. It takes certain determination to work without sleep to the end. I for one cannot omit sleeping and I need at least 8-9 hours a night. Those are crew privided by PitRoad. The builder said it's probably a special edition which provides 20 figures that may not be avialbable online. I just got it last month from a fellow modeler who's a airliner pilot. He probably got it right from Japan.
You know the missile corvette well. I just knew that Mirage offers 10 variants of this class. I've already passed on your comments about lower hull to "Tazmanian" over the phone, pointing him to look for the North Carolina thread here. I have another variant of this corvette poorly built long time ago. I'll have it rebuilt by "Tazmanian", may try 1:350 railings with it.
