Dutch Fluyt found in Baltic (#2, in even better condition than the first)

  If this fluyt is raised, I hope she does not share the same fate as the ALVIN CLARK, a raised top sail schooner that sank in the Great Lakes during a storm in the 1840s. Not enough funds was found to preserve this wreck, until she was allowed to deteriorate into a hopeless junk pile and then taken to a landfill for disposal. It would have been better to allow the ALVIN CLARK to rest in her grave undisturbed.

I believe that is the original version by the Swedish band Dive, released the year before Brightman's cover.

She is in incredible shape!  I would love an English translation, but the video is wonderful! I hope that they raise her, especially considering everything the Europeans seem to be doing with their maritime and naval history.

This month they have a nice article(really just whets the appetite) Of a ship found inshore, twenty feet below sea level in KIMBERLY,S mining sands on the coast of NAMIBIA. They think she came from the time of FERDINAND AND ISABELLA! The coins they found were SPANISH though, not PORTEGUESE!. They also found copper ingots shaped like cannon balls! I hope theres more. She is really well preserved. How deep is she? Will there be a recovery effort? Is there a version of this in English for us who are unfortunate to speak only one language?
