HELLO again ,MIGHTYBOSS !! You might be able to get some help as to equipment and parts from a few places ,The few that come to mind are as follows . By the way I used to live in ATLANTA ! Nowfor those sources --SCALE SHIPYARD /TAUBMAN PLAN SERVICES . The NAVAL INSTITUTE PRESS and WHITE ENSIGN MODELS of ENGLAND . There are some good books on building and detailing shipmodels (they,re smaller scales ) but the principal is the same. You will have to make many of the parts from scratch . So ,first do research and get all the info and then start your build ,or as someone has already suggested go to 1/350 scale , you,ll probably be luckier and happier with the results and the build time will be shorter too ! GOOD LUCK !!! tankerbuilder
