                        I've always wanted to build submarines but in 1/350 scale to match my other ships. AFV came out with the U-Boat Type VIIB and I just got mine. I only want to know what the translation in english is of Schlickgrau 58. Is it dark dark grey?  The Hobby Color/Aqeous Color equivalent is H-316/C-316. What will be its close equivalent color in Tamiya paints?

                        Schlickgrau 58 is a mud grey, or a dark to medium grey with a green hue. Keep in mind that U Boat colors varied from each shipyard and often within the same paint manufacturer so not all boats had the same identical shade. Additionally, the color shades  were further compromised by the effects of nature.
