Lexington CV-2, Enterprise CV-6 or Hornet CV-8 1/700 and/or BB-39 Arizona in 1/350 scale

I am looking for advise on who makes good quality, and accurate kits forthe WWII carriers Lexington CV-2, Enterprise CV-6 or Hornet  CV-8 in 1/700 scale. And/or the Battleship Arizona in 1/350 scale.

They don't need to be perfect but at least a good representation of the hull would be nice.

thanks

The best Arizona in any scale is probably the 1:700 scale offering by Dragon.   Be sure to look for the Premium edition with the included PE.   It also has proper plastic parts for the stack as opposed to vinyl used on the original release.   Second is probably the Waveline resin kit also in 1:700 scale resin & brass.   The plastic 1:350 scale kits, and there is really only one mold which has been released by Banner, Trumpeter, and MiniHobby models (and now HobbyBoss), suffers from turret spacing issues and is actually basically a scale-up from the old 1:426 scale Revell (with some corrections and improvements.

Trumpeter also makes a 1/700 scale Lexington in 1942 fitout prior to her loss at Coral Sea. I believe there was also a Prewar Saratoga that could also be made into Lexington.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

I just ordered a Dragon Premium 1/700 Arizona, would still like a 1/350 too if anyone should come up with a proper one.

I have read the Trumpeter 1/700 carrier hulls are not very accurate, but that may not be correct.

Please advise if this is wrong.

PS: I have changed the original heading.

thanks for the replies.
