Trumpeter 1/350 & 1/700th Scale USS ARIZONA

If you do get the Dragon kit, before you toss the Trumpeter 1/700 Arizona, rob it of all the foremast parts and modify them to match the 1944 Pennsy configuration, as Dragon got the foretop way too large out of scale. I have these kits myself and that is what I'm doing.

I already have the Dragon kit, will probably leave the 1/700 Trumpeter sit unless I get real board or give it away as a gift to some kid.

That's what I had heard but wanted to double check.

I had bought a 1/350 Trumpeter off of eBay "NIB". But it was far from NIB, missing parts including the middle deck and partially assembled.

Finally got the guy to take it back.

Think I'll stay with 1/700 except for smaler craft, subs, DD's and PT's.

Does anyone make a WWII sub tender or supply ship kit ?

Lion Roar for the etched sets if they have them....their super sets are unbelievable....

Just stay away from the MiniHobbies version of the 1/350th scale Arizona.  The hull for that kit is designed for R/C control.  The area where the shafts for the screws exit the hull is square.  It's designed to fit the motor.  The Banner kit is the best in terms of production quality.  I've had all three versizon.
